Ethics of the beginning and end of life - Weekly SNAC (16th June 2013)

What sort of contraception, if any, should I use? When does human life begin—at fertili- sation or at some point after that? What are the arguments for and against abortion? Is
it OK to use genetic screen- ing and other pre-natal tests to check for abnormalities in my unborn baby? Should Christians use IVF and other assisted reproductive tech- nologies? What is the current state of embryonic stem cell research? How should we treat those who are approaching the end of their life?
Dr Megan Best will be our guest at Church in the Bank [St George Bank Auditorium, Montgomery St, Kogarah] on 30 June at 6:30pm for a conversation hour on these topics. Built on extensive historical, biblical and medical research Dr Best has just released a brilliant book Fearfully and Wonderfully Made.

Everyone at SNAC is welcome to come on 16, 23 and 30 June for the series and especially for the Q&A with Dr Megan Best on 30 June.
