Weekly SNAC, 10 May 2015 - Making May a month of prayer for the harvest

Matthew 9:37-38 – Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. 38 Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”

In our Vision Sunday services the challenge to us was that “if we truly desire God to bring in the harvest here amongst us at
St George North – then there must be a widespread movement of prayer amongst us. And my prayer is that God in his
kindness and mercy will pour out upon us here a Spirit of compassion for the lost – and a spirit of humble prayerful dependence on Him.”

Will you make May a month of sacrificial prayer for the Harvest?

As part of that, the hope is that all members of St George North will join together once a week to pray for God to be at work in us and through us.

Tuesday Mornings (12,19 & 26 May)
6:30am – 9am at St James’ Carlton (please enter quietly through the carpark entrance)

Wednesday mornings (13,20 &27 May)
6:30am – 9am at Bexley North

Who should come?
Everyone. If your children are old enough to understand please bring them also.

Do I come for the whole time?
Come at whatever time suits for as long as you are able. Some will come from 6:30am for 15 minutes before going to work. Some will come at 8:15am for 30 minutes before school. Some will come for 2 hours!

What do I do when I get there?
Just come in quietly and join a group. Every 20 minutes or so we will pause and make some suggestions of prayer points to focus our prayer.

What if I am a young Christian who is not certain what to do?
Come and learn! At the very least join in saying Amen to other people’s prayers!
