School of Ministry

Training is one of the ten core strategies by which, under God, we hope to achieve our mission (see Vision2010). It is a key strategy since we dream of being a church where every member is a minister. For that ministry to be performed effectively we need to take seriously our responsibility to be developing our Christian understanding and honing our gifts. Ministry is not for the select few, it is the privilege and responsibility of every Christian. The St George School of Ministry exists to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to more effectively serve others. From the foundational task of knowing and sharing the gospel, to how parents raise their children, to how we understand and read the Bible as a whole—the School of Ministry has a course for you.
